TB Drugs






The most common drugs used for active tuberculosis are:


  • Isoniazid (INH)
  • Rifampin (RIF)
  • Ethambutol
  • Pyrazinamide.


For a person with latent tuberculosis, treatment usually consists of taking isoniazid for at least six months.
