Welcome to your second trimester where (in most cases) the sore breasts, nausea, and constant urge to pee of first trimester abate and your energy returns--albeit temporarily! In their place, you may notice these symptoms for the first time:
Shortness of breath
Pain in your abdomen, groin, and thighs
Stretch Marks
Backache
Skin Changes
Your belly will also noticeably expand, you'll feel your baby move for the first time, and have your first glimpse through an ultrasound. Amniocentesis and other birth defect screenings (if you choose to have them) are also usually scheduled during the second trimester.
